Courier Corp. will relocate and expand
Courier Corporation of Hawaii will relocate its corporate headquarters to a 40,000-square-foot facility at 320A Waiakamilo Road on May 17. The new facility is double the size of the company’s current location at 500 Alakawa St., behind the Costco gas station in Iwilei. The move positions the company for future growth and will allow it to provide certified cargo screening for businesses statewide, as well as expand its warehousing and distribution services. It has more than 100 employees. In response to greater security measures required in the shipping industry, the company will become a certified cargo screening facility in May, said Nick Smallwood, company president and CEO.“This certification, along with the larger space and highly controlled security, will make this an ideal location to service our customers’ needs,” he said.
