company history
Courier Corporation of Hawaii (CCH) was formed in 1990 by Bill Aspengren to perform courier work in the State of Hawaii. The company, through internal growth and acquisition, evolved from a pure courier company to a full service delivery company with more than $8 million in yearly sales. Today, CCH provides on-time delivery service and specializes in moving documents, small packages, and freight within the State of Hawaii and throughout the world.
CCH's first acquisition occurred in 1997 with the purchase of the customer list of Hawaiian Island Courier. In 1998 CCH purchased a PUC license which gave CCH the authority to operate in all areas of the transportation industry. Sales doubled in early 1999 when CCH started delivering products for a major customer on Oahu and when CCH acquired some of the office assets of Pan Oceania Hawaii, Ltd. The acquisition of Pan Oceania Hawaii brought the TNT/Skypak Worldwide network to CCH. Today, CCH is able to competitively service the global marketplace from Hawaii by tapping into the TNT/Skypak system from gateways in Tokyo, Los Angeles and Singapore. TNT/Skypak is one of the world's largest delivery companies and CCH is fortunate to have this strategic partner.
